Terms of use

These terms cover this website and the free tools on it. They are not the terms of any service you buy from us.

What this page covers, and what it does not

If you take on a website build, a brand kit, SEO, a Google Business Profile, content, reporting or any monthly work, that job comes with its own written terms covering scope, price, payment, ownership and what happens if either of us stops. You get those before you sign, not after. If anything in those terms disagrees with anything on this page, those terms win for that job.

This page is about the rest of it: reading the site, running the free tools, asking for the free audit, and booking a call.

Who you are dealing with

Ambitious Tradies, ABN 99 556 522 849, a business registered in Queensland and working with trade businesses across Australia. The way to reach us is hello@ambitioustradies.com. We do not publish a phone number — email and the booking calendar are the two ways in, on purpose, so nothing gets lost in a missed call.

Using this site means you accept these terms. If you do not, the site is free to leave.

What we do

We do marketing for trade businesses: websites, branding and brand kits, suburb and service pages, local SEO, Google Business Profile work, AI search visibility, reviews and reputation, blog and content, reporting, and Google Ads and social ads management. What each one costs is printed on the pricing page.

What we do not do

We do not promise leads, rankings, phone calls or revenue. Nobody controls those. What we sell is the work, done properly, and a record of what changed.

We do not control Google, any AI assistant, or any directory. They change how they rank and what they show whenever they like, without telling anybody.

We are not your lawyer, your accountant or your business adviser. Nothing on this site is legal, financial or tax advice.

We do not sell your details, rent them, or add you to a mailing list you did not ask for. The privacy page says exactly what we hold.

The free tools

There are eleven. Seven are calculators and they do their arithmetic in your browser — the numbers you type never reach us. Four are checks that go out and read live data on the day you run them: three read search results, and one reads the public pages of a website you name.

They are free, and they are estimates and observations, not audits, valuations or advice. What a check reports is what it read at the moment it ran. Search results move — the same check run tomorrow can come back different, and that is the tools working, not the tools failing. A calculator is only as good as the numbers you put into it.

Use them for your own business, or one you are entitled to look into. Do not hammer them, script them, resell them, or run them to build a list of somebody else’s businesses. There is a limit on how many checks one person can run, and we can turn access off for anyone using them that way.

The chat

The chat is an AI assistant. It answers from what is on this website, and it can get things wrong. Nothing it says is a quote, a promise or advice: the prices that apply are the ones on the pricing page, and the terms that apply to a job are the written ones you get before you sign.

Don’t type anything into it you would not want kept. The privacy page says what we keep. There is a daily limit on questions, and we can switch the chat off for anyone using it for something other than asking about their business.

The free visibility audit

Ask for the audit and a person looks and emails you a written result. It is free, there is no obligation, and you get two emails: one when you ask and one within a business day with what we found.

The result is a picture of your patch on one day, and it carries that date. It cannot promise you leads and it cannot tell you what Google will do next. The report is yours — keep it, print it, take it to another agency, we do not mind.

We may decline an audit, and we will say why. We do not run them for people looking to copy how we work.

Booking a call

Calls are booked through Cal.com and they are a conversation, not a contract. Nothing is agreed and nothing is owed by either of us until there is written scope and a price you have accepted.

The content on this site

The words, pictures, layout and tools on this site are ours. Read them, quote them with a link, send them to your mate. Do not copy the pages onto another website, rebrand them, or feed them into a product that competes with ours.

Anything you send us — your business name, your suburb, your trade — stays yours. We use it to do the thing you asked for.

Links to other people’s sites

We link to Google’s own documentation and a few other sources so you can check what we have said rather than take our word for it. We do not run those sites and we cannot promise they will still be there or still say the same thing.

Your privacy

What we collect and what we do with it is set out on the privacy page. It is short and in plain English.

Your rights under Australian law

Nothing on this page removes, restricts or changes any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be removed. If a guarantee applies and we fail to meet it, you have the rights the law gives you, and this page cannot take them away.

Beyond that, and as far as the law allows: the site and the free tools are provided as they are, we do not promise they will be available without interruption or free of errors, and we are not liable for a decision you make on the strength of a free tool or a free audit. If we are liable for something despite all that, and the law lets us limit it, our liability for anything to do with this website or the free tools is limited to re-supplying them — which, since they are free, is what you would get anyway.

Changes

We can change these terms. If we do, we change this page and update the date below. We will not quietly widen what we are allowed to do and leave the old page up.

Which law applies

The law of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of Queensland.
