The free visibility audit
The check takes seconds. This one takes a person.
Run the free check and you’ll see the screen a customer sees: where you come up, who’s above you, what the AI assistants say when they’re asked who to call. That’s the photograph.
The audit is what a photograph can’t do. Someone sits down with your name, your trade and your suburbs, searches the way your customers search, and then goes looking for the reason the screen looks like that. Where your details disagree with each other across the web. Which of the names above you is a real competitor and which is a directory. What would move first, and what isn’t worth touching.
Two minutes to ask. A day for someone to do it properly.
Two minutes of typing. We do the deep research.
The more you give us, the more we find. Results move about — what you get back is the picture on the day.
What happens to what you type here. We use it to run the audit and to email you the result. That’s the entire list. We don’t sell it, we don’t add you to a mailing list. Two emails: one when you ask, and one within a business day with what we found.
Rather just email? hello@ambitioustradies.com. Business name and suburb in the body is enough.
What a person looks at
Four things. All of them you can go and check yourself afterwards.
01
Where you come up for your trade and your suburb
The ordinary blue results and the map block above them, searched as a stranger rather than as you. A position, or nothing — and nothing is a real answer, not an error.
02
Who is above you, by name
The businesses taking the searches you’re missing, with their review counts, and which of them are real competitors rather than directories. Names, so you can go and look at what they’ve got that you haven’t.
03
Which directories have you, and which have you wrong
Where your details already appear across the web, and where they disagree with each other. Old hours, a number from two vans ago, a trading name that only half matches. Every one of those is a version of you sitting out there, and nothing on the web says which one is current.
04
Whether your socials are findable at all
Facebook, Instagram and the rest — present, missing, or abandoned in 2021 with the old number still on it. A dead profile ranking for your own name is worse than no profile.
What lands, and what happens next
One business day. Written, in plain English, by a person who has looked.
It comes back as an email you can read on the ute, with a link to your own private page — not listed, not searchable. Where you turn up, who’s above you, what’s wrong with your details, and the one thing we’d fix first — which won’t always be the most expensive thing on our price list.
If the honest answer is that you’re fine, that’s what the email says. We’d rather tell you that than invent a problem to justify a quote.
Nobody rings you. Not that day, not a week later, not from a number you don’t recognise. At the bottom there’s a link to book a call if you want one, and that call starts from the audit — you’ve read it, we’ve written it, so nobody spends the first ten minutes catching up. Use the link or don’t. Until you do, the email is the whole of it.
Straight up
What the audit can’t tell you
Worth knowing before you spend two minutes on the form.
It can’t promise you leads. Search volume is a count of people typing something, not a count of people ringing you. Any jobs figure built on it, including the rough one in the free check, is a guide, not a forecast.
It can’t tell you what Google will do next. It’s a photograph of one day, and the date goes on it for exactly that reason.
It isn’t a full technical site audit. It’s what a customer sees from the outside. What’s under the bonnet of your website is a different job and we’d tell you if it looked like the problem.
And it isn’t a quote. You get the findings whether or not there’s anything for us to sell you.
Why you’d trust a business you can’t see
Fair question.
There’s no team photo on this site and no founder’s letter, because there’s no team. It’s a small operation based on the Gold Coast working with tradies right across Australia, and pretending otherwise would be the first lie.
What we do instead of a smiling stock photo is put everything checkable in public. Every price we charge is on one page with the year’s total worked out. What happens to your patch if you stop paying is printed on the price list rather than buried in a contract. One thing we could easily bill you for is listed as something we won’t sell, with the reason. None of that is generous — it’s just the only way a business with no face earns anything from a bloke who’s been burnt once already.
The audit is the cheapest test of whether any of that is true. Two minutes to ask, and a day later you’ll know whether we did what we said.

Two minutes to ask. A day for someone to do it properly.
Business name, suburb and an email to send it to. That’s the whole ask.
